I have many inspirations that I use when I'm designing a new outfit. I know I have a long way to go, so bare with me. Anyways, I get inspired by other designers' shape, as well as colors. I get inspired by everyday people who have a great sense of style and also those who may not. I also get inspired by things in nature. I look at the sky sometimes and it has these beautiful colors that look great together. My dress, "sunset", is an example. The yellow represents the streak of sun that is left in the sky as it goes down. the blue represents the sky itself, and the orange represents the color that the sun gives off when it is setting.
My other look, is supposed to be a nude, laced dress. I'm sure that most of you have seen this before many times, but I just had to do one of my own. It can be nude colored underneath or just white and black. I was inspired by other designers because I seen it before. Every time I saw this look i felt that it needed more class and sophistication. I cant really remember which designers but i changed it around a little and tried to give it a more classy look. I thought it would be great to create a "nude" garment that is, at the same time, classy. I think I achieved it.

I really like the nude lace dress (I am kind of partial to lace). I think you really gave that dress a good shape it looks like it would really fit the body well. Its a very classic 'little black dress' look with a twist.

Lauren, I like both styles of your dresses. Your inspiration and originality is so inspiring and your expression so unique. I love the way the colors represent the sunset. The lace dress is also elegant. Lace really gives a girl that classy look.

Oh my gosh I absolutely love love love the sunset dress. I love how it is sleek and fits the curves of the body. I think that you should design a dress for me haha. Wonderful sketches and designs.
